each other will tell them that they will go to the **** tavern if they want to choose from an overwhelming selection of ales in the home of howling hops. I'll tell you to go if you're in a ugly barbagstack. tct offers a wide selection of poros and scotch eiern. An excellent neighborhood pub with a spacious bar offering a wide selection of beers, ales, and ciders on tap. A great spot to socialize and meet new people, I highly recommend dropping by for a drink.
This is a real gem for those who like an authentic pub. It is cosy and the stools along the bar which have disappeared in most places give this an old-school feel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the pub had a nice bustling feel. It serves a good selection of ales and IPA on handpumps, with a good selection of canned beers wines. Some nice touches are Bovril for £2 and an assortment pickled eggs, I'd recommend the marmite balsamic flavours (see photo). All in all, this is the antithesis of the industrial gastropub and feels a little like stepping back in time
Fantastic pub, great beer choice, friendly staff and nice atmosphere.
Lovely old pub with a huge choice of beers, ales, and ciders.
Excellent selection of beers on tap and I never had to wait long to be served.
