One stand in particular makes amazing salads with several vegan options available, along with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. In addition, there are three fantastic bookstores, art and crafts vendors, and various cafes and bars, including a vegetarian tea/coffee house. There is also a great beer and wine business that offers vegan options and some healthy snacks. For delicious bread, skip the test with Brot and head over to E5 Bakery in London Fields. The market opens at 10 o'clock, so be sure to arrive early. All profits from the market go back to the Hackney community, and there is also the opportunity to take a nice walk along Regent's Canal, one of the best parts of London. Keep in mind that this market is not a farmers market, so not all products are local. Some recommendations include Ted's Veg, who grows their produce in Lincolnshire, and Chegworth Valley from Kent.
