Marnetta's Soul Food - Haarlem

I don 't know how I could not give this business 5 stars. Although the focus on three main meals (I may be wrong), those three mains are ridiculously good. I first tried the burrito, and I didn ' want to review until I tried the other mains. But dear god, they do not over credit themselves with the tag of 'soul food ', you feel not only full, but so happy after the meal. As a student living in the city, the food here is worth every cent. And what I highly recommend is if you can go to the store yourself. Not only because it makes things easier for the main chef herself, but because then you get to chat to the entrepreneur behind it all, who not only listens to everything you have to say, but will engage with you while killing it foodwise behind the scenes. Haarlem has a lot of good food to offer, but this is one of the most underrated establishments!

Ordered tonight for the first time via deliveroo. Ate a shared family meal. Seriously delicious! We have lived in The Netherlands for 3.5 years and we think that Marnetta cooks the very best home cooked, tasty, flavoursome and fresh food. Don't miss this place or you'll really regret it...

I just ordered food from here and I honestly can say, as a self proclaimed food delivery connoisseur, this is the best place I have ordered food from in Haarlem. This food is so good I feel Daenerys Mother of Dragons should have probably eaten Marnetta’s before burning King’s Landing to the ground; would have changed her mood entirely. Quality portion sizes at a great price. I hope the busier this place gets the longer they can stay open! Will be ordering again tomorrow!

Best Caribbean food in town, made with so much love

Love this place so much. The style to the food to the staff and owner everything is first class. The burritos are amazing. The chicken puff pastry. Can’t wait to try the Mac and cheese and wings. You guys are great and have everyone talking about you and recommending you so I wish you all the success. I just wish I tried you sooner.
