What User doesn't like about Maita Cocina Nikkei:
A trendy Peruvian Japanese fusion restaurant with some interesting dishes and sushi. Good cocktails. I'd give it 4 stars if the service was better. In fact, I almost considered giving it 2 stars.... . We had reservations on Friday evening and were told, when we made them, there was a 2 hour limit, so we could have the table from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. At 7:50pm we were asked to move outside from our indoor table(! . Then,... View all feedback.

This is one of the best restaurants in haarlem. the service was high quality. it is something to experience yourself. they will not be disappointed.
Very beautiful ambiente, very good service and excellent eating! we're going back!
Although not cheap on any wise, it is clear that maita is a true passion for great kitchen, balanced aromen and very appealing nikkei decisions. started with a non-very-Nikkei padrón paprika, which were nevertheless grilled to perfection with some top-up katsuobushi. there are some wonderful spicy gyozas, a causa dezello and an excellent truffle ceviche with enough of black things to not overdo the taste of the fish. followed with abundant, really well-made tormented salmon and foie grass unagi uramakis, and finished with a heavenly yellow pfeffer risotto and a juicy sukade steak with what grilled chicory and pesto. in any case cooked after my taste. all this accompanied by a skillful pisco sour and a blasphemous glass nero d’avola, which was my own well-made choice. beautiful service and perfect location. highly recommended.
Best Nikkei restaurant in the Netherlands. The sushi is like you’re almost in Peru. Good desserts.
