I enjoyed this food so much. Great food with a difference. Had the cross fit breakfast. Great coffee and service. Totally recommend this place I would say, one of the best breakfasts I have had in a while View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Shack:
I had high hopes until I read the menu. I had the protein blueberry pancakes and at $22 were a bit floury and not worth the money. Their idea of a large latte is in a regular sized glass. It was far from large and...$1 extra for soy was a bit over the top. There are many cafe/restaurants in GYMEA that are heaps better than this. View all feedback.
The Shack is one of my favorite breakfast spots in the area. I adore the ambiance and the menu. I often stop by after a workout to enjoy their protein-packed breakfast options. Follow me on Instagram at Sydneyfooddude.
I tried the Earth Bunless Burger at this restaurant and I really enjoyed the fact that the fries were baked and the quinoa patty was delicious. My only critique is that the tofu lacked seasoning and was slightly bland.
Coffee basics can be found here with a few specialty coffees such as the double espresso with coconut oil and grass fed butter. These guys dish out food for the health conscious and people with allergies. This place is a gem in the suburbs. Menu is very extensive with a brekky and lunch menu. Lots of tables and seats indoors and out.<br/ <br/ *wagyu beef burger and those sweet potato fries <br/ *protein pancakes on the sweeter side<br/ *smash avo enough for two!<br/ <br/ This is one place we'll definitely be coming back to.
I’ve been going to the Shack regularly for a few months now, and the staff are always friendly and ready to serve. Their coffee is always fantastic, and their dishes are creative and delicious. But again, a massive selling point for me is how they create such a wonderful atmosphere.
The restaurant offers generous portions of fresh food and also serves Tamburlaine organic wine. I highly recommend trying the Acai bowls and the fancy avo, a delicious dish featuring sourdough with avocado, goat cheese, tomatoes, chia seeds, sautéed mushrooms, asparagus, topped with a poached egg and a splash of lemon.
