I've noticed how many of the reviews about this restaurant are over old....so having gone out for dinner here in the last month or so I decided it behooves me to let you all know what it's like currently. The owners have only...been here just over and have worked incredibly hard to improve service and quality. Yes, they've maintained the original name, and maybe a little of that stigma remains, but rest assured it has risen high above your average small restaurant! The Menu changes a couple of times per year so if dishes I mention are no longer available I assure you the new dishes will be quality. Starters of Duck Salad with Pomegranate, Baked Prosciutto wrapped Figs (yumm! Calamari Fritti and more...... Mains such as Beef Cheeks (superb! Lamb Shoulder Roulad, Fish Tacos, Barramundi.... Desserts.....(depends. Rida has trialled and finalised a pretty damn good wine list as well...so its hardly likely you won't find something you can enjoy. Despite being a relatively small yet busy restaurant the meals arrive well within a reasonable time limit, the kitchen staff seamlessly working to ensure a smooth operation. Honestly.... our family have enjoyed this restaurant since the new owners moved in and it is SO enjoyable we will wander down there a couple of times every month.... easily. PS... if you can't decide they have an excellent offering called "Trust The Chef" which gives you a selection of items for Ive had it twice and recommend it highly!! Bookings essential..

Went last night to celebrate co-worker's birthday- there was of us. It looked so nice when we walked in- we sat at big middle table decorated with beautiful flowers. The atmosphere was really great- music not too loud, nice lighting- some couples, some smaller...groups- a nice vibe. We ordered the sharing plates, arancini and vegetarian tacos to start with- all fresh and delicious- lots of vegetarian options. We then had pizzas- they were also delicious, nice thin crust loved the Figgy- yum. Cocktails looked great. We ordered the oreo cheesecake for the birthday girl and it came out with Happy birthday with her name also written in chocolate on the plate- nice touch. Rida and her team looked after us incredibly well and the restaurant was quite full so they were pretty busy but we didn't have to wait for anything. I notice this restaurant has some bad reviews but I can tell you it must have been different management because we couldn't fault it. As I was the one who organised it, I really appreciated that everything went smoothly. Thank you to all the staff who looked after us

We have eaten at this restaurant before but a fair while ago. It was fantastic then. Great service and excellent food. We thought we would support a local business by ordering a meal to be home delivered. Well that was mistake. Even the bruschetta wasn't...cooked properly and all the dishes were cold when we received them (via ubereats). The salt and pepper squid seemed like it had been cooked last week and hadn't even been heated before delivery. It was served on what can only be described as half a bed of wilted cabbage. The pizza tasted ok but the prawns were obviously small frozen ones and a cold pizza isn't that appetising I'm afraid. Looking at past reviews I now see that the restaurant now has different owners. Won't be sending any more business their way

We really liked this place on our first visit and we’re a bit surprised about the earlier negative reviews ! We had the fish tacos for entree (very nice then we had the prosciutto pizza and seafood pasta both very enjoyable. The service was...friendly and attentive

I visited with my family. The service was very slow we asked for our bill times and the lady kept Dordelling around. Very quiet, it used to be such a great atmosphere and incredible food. Our prawn pasta said on the menu that...it included sundried tomato’s, when the dish came out with cherry tomatoes. When asked what happened they said they ran out of sundried tomato’s. The pasta was overcooked, everything just seemed off and frozen. We were so hungry ate the dish but it was not nice at all. We will unfortunately never go back
