Came to Porthmadog for the day on the train and headed for this pub because we knew it was dog friendly. staff very polite and welcoming and even brought a bowl of water for the dog . service. Excellent food lovely we know whete to head next time we are here ! View all feedback.

Ate here with the family after many years of only calling in for a drink. Food was reasonably priced and everyone enjoyed the chips. Pub is very rustic, a nice place to relax with a pint after walking in the hills. Staff were friendly and it had a fun atmosphere.
I was directed here by a hotel receptionist. I was not disappointed. Great beer, great food, great staff. So much so that I came back the next night. Very much the same. I will remember this place for when I'm in the area again. Thank you to all at The Australia.
A great night out, purple Moose brewery choices are fantastic and the food absolutely delicious. Really good prices and super friendly staff!
Always full and always a good and decent pint of proper ale. Always warm and cosy and the locals at the bar are always so friendly and give it a lovely character. Recently changed their menu which to my disappointment no longer has the steak salad on it. Opted for the chicken goujon, which although very nice, was not worth the £7.50. Burger I had previously off the lunch menu was fantastic and plentiful however and well worth the money. Toilets could do with a bit of a scrub. Overall a very nice pub.
Great food, great beer, and good value too. Burgers were delicious and service was prompt despite being busy.
