What Bethany Rose likes about Fairbourne Chippy:
Big portions, freshly cooked and served hot and tasty .The best chippy in Gwynedd. The fish was delicious and the batter spot on. Best to phone your order in first to save waiting. View all feedback. What RhinoKellie doesn't like about Fairbourne Chippy:
We ordered food from here last night for the first time. Unfortunately it was a bit disappointing. We realised when I got home that we weren’t offered salt vinegar, therefore the chips were just plain. The chips were ok but lacked taste due to there being no seasoning. read moreFairbourne Chippy, a charming seaside eatery, serves a classic fish and chips experience. While many visitors praise its freshly cooked meals and friendly service, recent feedback reveals some inconsistencies. Diners have reported undercooked fish, soggy batter, and plain chips lacking seasoning, leaving them disappointed despite previous visits. However, the curry sauce and mushy peas often receive accolades. Patrons appreciate the restaurant's traditional values, with hot, wrapped meals enjoyed against a picturesque coastal backdrop. Overall, while hits and misses exist, Fairbourne Chippy continues to attract those in search of a nostalgic seaside meal.
