The staff was not exactly friendly and the... read more I went to this restaurant with a group of four and since we were by the seaside, we decided to order fish and chips. The staff was not exactly friendly and the service was a bit slow, despite it being quiet. The chips were frozen instead of being homemade, and the fish seemed like it may have been a pre-formed, store-bought product - it was tough and lacked flavor. I usually try to focus on the positives, but in this case, there wasn't much to praise other than the upstairs area with a view of the sea. Perhaps other dishes are better, and there appears to be a good selection of cakes for those interested. The prices were typical for a seaside spot, but I didn't feel like it was good value in this instance. Additionally, having only one unisex restroom upstairs could be an issue during busy times.

Highly recommend for locals and passersby alike.
