After a long day at work, I missed lunch and was about to miss dinner too, having just arrived five minutes after closing time. Unfortunately, I had to leave be... read more After a long day at work, I missed lunch and was about to miss dinner too, having just arrived five minutes after closing time. Unfortunately, I had to leave before they opened again in the morning. However, the wonderful ladies there were so kind that they turned the fryer back on and prepared a delicious chicken burger and fries for me. It was incredibly tasty! They even gave me a muffin to take for breakfast. I was truly touched by their generosity since this kind of service is rare in the city nowadays. This was a perfect example of old-fashioned hospitality, and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend stopping by—I'll definitely make it a point to visit every time I'm in Guyra and I'll be telling all my friends that this is the place to go!

Plus, it's shorts-friendly, which definitely makes it better than that pretentious Irish pub in Canberra.
