You know a restaurant is good when it is packed full of locals and you have to take a ticket and queue at the door to get in. That was my experience at La Casa de Toño in Plaza Lindavista, close to where I am staying. Always lots of people so tried it. Quite disastrous as the quality of the food is really low. No savor, bad presentation. Service is also quite bad with little attention. Restaurant was not super clean. I would never recommend. View all feedback.
La Casa de Toño is one of my and my boyfriend’s favourite restaurants, we love the pozole and basically everything on the menu. However this experience was something else. It was certainly not the first time we came ti this branch and we knew what to expect, crowds, turn taking and a bit of waiting, however, turns out Luis Cesar, the host decided, and very rudely asked us to line up for turn taking, so taking a turn to take a turn. When he was calling turns you had to be about 2 to 3 meters away from this guy, cause he didn’t feel calling out for consumers should require any yelling, we are supposed to be paying attention, moreover, when he finally called our name we had to stand where told and had to move when commanded. In the end we put with the whole charade because we love the food, but we would definitely consider attending another branch next time.
This is a very family friendly restaurant with excellent service and lots of food. Mostly for the locals, but very authentic cuisine if you want real good food and very good good price.

Muy buena la comida, las porciones son generosas y los precios son bajos. La atención es buena y rápida, sin duda un buen lugar para una ocasión informal.
El servicio es muy rapido los muchachos se pelean por atenderte. "Muy bueno para mi que siempre estoy crriendo" se come muy bien.
