What Mrs Pivo doesn't like about Salutos Pizza Pasta:
Our waitress was nice and friendly the restaurant was clean and nice but Food was not good at all the pasta was so thick and taste like rubber I almost choked on it going down, the Italian beef tasted and looked like roast beef and the au jus was clear like water, the garlic bread was cold and hard. Customer of 30 years. What happened to this Italian restaurant?? Start off with being greeted by a grumpy waitress, oh whoa is me? Ordered iced tea w lemon. Tasted like sewer water. Server said it’s not fresh brewed anymore, it’s a Coke product. Blah! I came for soup and salad. Server said they don’t do that anymore. Why not? You sell soup. You sell salad. Make a dinner combo. Nope, they used Covid as a weak excuse. $8 salad refills. No thank you. Minestrone not that good anymore. We ordered a 14” sausage, green pepper, onion, mushroom. The sausage tasted like it sat uncovered in the frig for two weeks. The pizza sauce had no taste!!! So three grown adults only eat part of a pizza, tell the server it wasn’t good, refused to take it home (I’ve never done that) and nobody said boo. It’s clear as to why I’ve noticed their parking lot empty during dinner hours. Truly a sad state of change. $78 for a pizza, two salads and a bowl of soup. ?
This place is a local gem! Used to come here as a kid bringing my family here now. Still tastes just as good!
I’ve been coming here for years. This was the worst time. My family and I arrive around 3:45pm and didn’t leave until 5:15pm. There were 3 of us. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all. We waited at least 10 15 minutes for water alone. I ordered fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli (a lunch sized portion) my husband ordered an 8” thin crust pizza and my son ordered a children’s spaghetti. Plus an order of mozzarella sticks and one glass of wine. Our bill was $75.00. We waited forever for the entrees. My Alfredo had no broccoli in it. It tasted disgusting. The pasta was thick and firm. Overcooked? The alfredo was extremely grainy. This place used to be amazing. Even the famous salad dressing doesn’t taste as good as it used to. The restaurant needs to focus more on good food and well trained staff all they seemed to care about was socializing amongst themselves.
Very bad services poor vegetable...not enough for grocery
Been visiting this lovely place for years. Great food, great service. Feels like home and tastes just as good too.
