Aha Sushi - Gurnee
Aha Sushi
Description
AHA has garnered a polarizing reputation, with some patrons expressing deep dissatisfaction rooted in service issues and food quality, while others rave about delightful cuisine and helpful staff. Negative experiences come from inconsistent sushi freshness and unprofessional requests for increased tipping, leading some to vow never to return. Conversely, many visitors celebrate the charming atmosphere, friendly service, and excellent dishes, especially the vegan options and specialties like fried shumai and seared squid. Despite concerns with service speed, loyal customers remain hopeful, sharing glowing feedback about their meals, highlighting AHA’s potential as a beloved dining destination.

Delisious sushi, priced well, some very creative combinations. I didn't like the place itself, no ambience IMHO.
Very good sushi. Better than Honada in Kenosha, not as good as Kai in Chicago. Friendly staff. There is someone there that does not roll as well sometimes the rolls fall apart.
Absolutely delicious. Every aspect of our meal was great. If we could eat here every we would. The veggie tempura, the veggie croquets, the fried tofu and edemame were phenominal. Even the sushi is good in the fridge until next day. Highly, highly reccomend!!
We have been patrons of AHA for a long time, but our most recent visit will be our final one. During a takeout order, we discovered long strips of plastic in one of the maki rolls we ordered. Though they refunded us for the roll, we no longer feel comfortable dining here with our family.
