Mad Mex - Gunter Grove, Beldon

I work in Hillarys so have been a regular at MadMex since the day it opened a few years ago. It is fast food and it is a franchise so don't expect authentic Mexican food like you'd get in California (where I'm from or um, Mexico : (where I have lived but it's pretty good. The only major item missing is refried beans which I am constantly complaining to them about. This particular franchise is run by a lady from Columbia (I told you, I go there a LOT and within the confines of the franchise's menu (no refried beans!!!! , they do a pretty good job. The staff are usually helpful and happy to change things around for you without any extra charge. Beware of teenage girls serving during school holidays though as they tend to be a bit stingy with the portions. Try to get one of the guys to serve you, much larger helpings.

Excellent selection for both kids and adults. Tacos were very taste and my daughter loved the mini melt. She described it as burrito sandwich and loved corn and pineapple salsa in it.

I asked for extra meat and the guy actually put a full second serving of extra meat on along with the full first serving. The burrito almost couldn't be rolled. Would 100% recommend this place to anybody who loves big burritos

Finally someone that can do mexican. Yay ! mexican can be a horrible takeout if its done like some of the famous burger places. If you have been to the US and had taco bell you will know what I mean. This is excellent. awesome job .

We're a family of 6 have 4 teenagers and we are all in love with Mad Mex even the fussy ones! Something for everyone and great tasting healthy options too. Going back tonight...
