Was User at Pie-zan's a mag?
Stopped for the night in Gunnison and went straight after check-in at our hotel to Pie-Zan. Great decision on our side, because until 6:30 a.m. on a Friday night this place was floating! And for good reason we had the caprese and a regular pepperoni for dinner and cheesecake, chocolate mousse cake for dessert. Everything totally brilliant and would definitely go back when we're back in the area. The dough had great t... View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Pie-zan's:
Not worth the price. Wanted to order a medium they said they only had large or small… Asked for extra sauce on the pizza, and I’m sure that they used even less than usual. You might as well cook at home. $20 down the drain. Not appetizing at all. Very thin, dry and burnt. The photos don’t lie. If I could return this pizza I definitely would because I would prefer my money back View all feedback.

The staff is fantastic, and the Italian food is excellent! I enjoyed the garlic knots and Stromboli. There's also a cozy bar area. It's kid-friendly and allows dogs on the outdoor terrace/deck.

Pretty great food, pizza, pasta, salads and more. Great place for a family with different likes or tastes in food. Take out dine in and free delivery. Great drinks coke, diet coke, lemonade, dr pepper sherly temples and fun desserts. Definitely coming again!

We where in town from out of state and where looking for some good food and found it at Pie-Zan's. I had spice Italian sandwich my mom had grilled chicken on salad with house dressing sister had chicken parmesan, brother in-law had gyro wrap and kids had pizza. Service was grate for an Italian food place food came out quick. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area...

The atmosphere was quite unusual. The owner was shouting at the staff and being discourteous to customers. They closed early, citing a "cheese shortage" and mentioning that they were going on vacation. It might be time for them to consider selling the place!

As someone who believes in treating others as we wish to be treated, I feel it's important to share my experience during my short time working here. On my second day, I was approached by a person who identified as the owner, characterized by dark hair and a loud, commanding presence. From the outset, their attitude struck me as overly bossy, especially given our early interactions. During my first shift, I made an effort to address some cleanliness concerns in the kitchen and dish pit while trying to learn the ropes and encourage best practices like proper glove use and efficiency. However, instead of being supported, I felt disrespected and was even told to leave after my work ethic was criticized in a way that felt personal. This feedback came from both the owner and a manager named Sage, who seemed to contradict the owner’s instructions, which left me feeling confused and frustrated. Additionally, I noticed some concerning health and safety issues, such as what appeared to be black mold in the corners of the dough pans and a certain carelessness with food preparation that could potentially impact both staff and customers. I came on board with excitement for the food quality, the opportunity to contribute, and the hope for a cohesive team environment. Unfortunately, my experience thus far has left me unsure about those prospects. I believe there might be potential for improvement here, and I hope that management takes this feedback constructively to create a better atmosphere for future employees and customers alike.
