That was frustrating, to s... read more To make matters worse, when I asked the waitress about the meat, she replied that she had no idea what it was and simply walked away. That was frustrating, to say the least. I asked the staff for a refund since the meat was tough and inedible, but instead, I was met with rudeness. They implied that I was foolish for not knowing where the kids' drinks were and that I was expecting too much from a country pub. I've dined at many pubs before, and they usually provide a great experience, which is why we chose to support this local establishment instead of ordering takeout. Overall, it was a very disappointing visit.

Thank you to the team for taking such great care of us; the owners and staff were fantastic. I highly recommend this place!
