Gundelfingen is one of the live satellites freiburgs, according to the culinary offer. while the common on the historical gas stations along the old road, the time of the horse-trading works is slowly over. this had also recognized the greener of the railway floor, which, with the introduction of the railway, moved the gastronomic approach with the railway line. who knows gundelfingen knows, however, that ice remains here only in case of need, which was the meaning of the way for gastronomy and therefore is equal to zero. it may be that this restaurant on one side is “out of the shot” and on the other side in the past had to claim despite partly appealing services. the current pächters have reliably recognized these site disadvantages and therefore try to counteract them. this is from the loving facility, the renovated beer garden and above all from the modern offer that is unfamiliar to gufi. it is certainly useful not only to contact the local clientele (of which no gastronomy can live in the place eh), but to bring the freeburger guests in the same way. thierry falconier has successfully practiced this on his way from the crossflower, patiently follow the old customers the luxury from his kitchen also here. and there is much to sniff, meresgetier are undoubtedly a passion of the native fön, the muddles in gorgeous broth are never offered on the map, but always on request. also the lovers of the Provencal cuisine come here to their cost, wonderfully delicious rabbits with lion tooth and thymian put a directly back in the verdon. the service could become even more friendly, the prices are somewhat above the offered level, but still acceptable. the wee recommendation was perfectly matched to the menu. I want to come back.
Unfortunately my calf fertilizer was too soft, I would have immediately pointed out; I could choose a delicious Sorbet cellar. my brother was very happy with his ochsenbäckle. also the carpaccio of the bark tasty as an appetizer. I shared it with my brother (at a price of 2 €).
Overall, I was very happy with my visit. We had a family party on site. In fact for ambience (very rustic) and food (good, but not excellent) I would not give the full score, but the overall experience was great! Great hostess, great service, super family. Birthday dinner in the train court. My daughter and I had the same supplement for the main course. This was just as large as the supplements of the others who had their own supplement. The waitress said we should let her know if we need more supplements. I gave up on time and asked for a referral. This was first forgotten what happened after a few minutes. After reminding me again, the waitress still went from table to table to take care of the orders instead of the guests who already have their food on the table. In the meantime, the others ate at the table, my daughter served at the side of the other at the table. My food was cold when my supplement was brought after 10 minutes. The bad thing was the handling of the waitress and her mother about the Fauxpas: The service apologised, but then told me that we had the double supplement anyway. Then why is this offered to us? The mother was then really the best: they complained that I only ate the second supplement to 2/3. Words: You didn't even eat anything, then you don't have to scream like that. A: I didn't shout. I wasn't excited and I said that too. B: The portion was apparently for two people. C: The others at the table were already FERTIG and my daughter had served at the OTHER supplements. I left the place. The rest of my family was only served with a murky look of the lady. For crowning, two dishes were also presented on the invoice. The daughter of the older waitress then apologised again, which this time really sounded honest. Despite everything, my birthday dinner was ruined. I'm also a mother. If you want to protect your daughter, that's all right. But not as a waitress in a restaurant and not wrong. That's how you bury the guests. The food is good, but nothing special. You get a better service for less money in many restaurants.
