Cork Street Cafe - GUNDAROO

This old-fashioned cafe serves incredibly delicious pizza in a cozy setting. The atmosphere is fantastic and the staff is delightful. I highly recommend it!

Situated in the historic former police horse stables, this cafe and pizza restaurant exudes charm. The building has been beautifully restored, with remnants of its past, such as plaster on top of straw, adding to its character. Learning about the history of the place from the staff is an added bonus. The pizzas are delicious and cooked to perfection in a wood-fired oven. Don't miss the garlic bread appetizer, which is essentially a mini pizza loaded with delicious toppings. I highly recommend this place!

I discovered this restaurant off the beaten path and it was truly amazing. This family-owned café mainly serves gourmet pizzas that are of very high quality. The fungi pizza was topped with plenty of fresh mushrooms, while the smoked chicken pizza had a generous serving of tomatoes, roasted capsicum, onions and quality cheese. We also enjoyed a very generous crispy green salad with various lettuces, cucumber, and green leaves. Additionally, there were some delicious dessert options available. We shared the sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce and ice cream. Overall, it was a lovely meal made with fresh produce, served by super friendly staff, and they also allow you to bring your own wine. It's a great place to enjoy some world-class local wines.

I believe in giving second chances, and I am happy to report that this restaurant has redeemed itself since my last review. The menu is carefully crafted and the food is delicious. The specials are always a delightful surprise, the coffee is excellent, and the service is top-notch. This charming country restaurant is a hidden gem, with a beautiful atmosphere and welcoming entrance that makes you feel like part of the family. I highly recommend making the trip to support this wonderful cafe and gallery.
