It was our 13th anniversary on May 18th. My friend I decided to just go, Jalapeno Tree. Went in and waited almost 10 minutes to be thought. There was a girl coming and that started ringing, just told us a minute to get the phone. Then it rang again, so waited more. I sat on it and the food was very good and our waitress Bernadette was great. The best waitress we've ever had.

Pretty and cheerful deco , ambience was also nice. I had the cancun with grilled vege as sides , glad it wasn’t big in portion. My other friends had big portions though , so big that they had to put it in takeaway boxes ! Food was great , strongly recommended !

Went to Jalepeno Tree At Gun Barrel City TX. It was 4:30 when we arrived. We ordered and ate chips salsa and a queso. Waited forever for the food, there were only two others dining at the time so idk why it took so long for the food especially when we saw what we got. My fajitas were terrible, the chicken was the precooked prepacked strips like you buy at Wal Mart, there was I small red pepper ring and a few pieces of green pepper. A bunch of thick cut onions. A very small plate of food. The there was a big plate of sour cream and cheese more food with that than the fajitas. It was as if they took a few seconds to throw it together and season it. Just awful tasting. I didn't eat it.
