What Tanya Edwards doesn't like about Chez Roux:
The location is great and the staff were, without exception, friendly and helpful. The amuse bouche were light and tasty. I chose the split pea soup as starter sadly, it was not very flavourful, (not offensive either to be fair) the soft egg was easily the best part. Overall, our experience was very good, but we encountered a couple of issues. Firstly, we had a long wait for both our food and the bill at the end. The staff seemed to overlook us once we finished, and we ended up searching for the bill for about 15-20 minutes. On a positive note, the food was beautifully presented.
