We stopped by to eat guided by the good comments of google and it was all right. We called the time before to ask if there was room and we already booked the table. We were treated super fast even though the dining room was full. it was festive and had a menu of the day for euros. abundant rations and they asked if you wanted to repeat, everything was very good. What hamburgerhill doesn't like about La Casilla:
Frankly avoid to eat there by all means. Very poor quality food, badly prepared and not the cheapest. The restaurant is more like truck driver dining place in a run down place. The service was friendly although chaotic, needed to remind them a couple of times to bring you another drink. View all feedback.
Very basic menu of the day. There were three starters, Soup, Cauliflower with spots and shrimp in batter, (industrial frozen). Everything very simple. Second, Galician Hake, three strips of very poor quality hake skin, without flavor and a strong hint of frozen, stewed beef, the sauce with a strong wine flavor, unfinished, the salad, iceberg lettuce and three slices of tomatoes for two… Menu at 12 euros, Conclusion, cheap menu, zero quality. We ordered two menus of the day (3 starters to choose from and three seconds and several desserts as an option) and a portion along with a dessert from the menu. First a vegetable cream, the best we have ever eaten, then second steak and beef fillet. All very rich. The third person ordered a portion of calamari with potatoes and baked cheesecake for dessert. Everything was very good, generous portions and very well priced. We paid €36 for three people. Very nice waiters. Good parking. The truth, to repeat
Very good food, very good service, friendly and pleasant waiters. We sat on the terrace where it was quiet and the views were beautiful. 100% recommended, if we return to the area it will be a mandatory stop
