Went there friday night just after 10pm. Pub busy but door locked. Was shouted at through the door to F--k off and someone came to the door sticking hes middle finger at us and again shouting f--k off. What a awful and vile way to treat a customer. A total dump. Stay well clear View all feedback.

Wake up Guildford, you have a gem on your doorstep. The Cannon might not be in the centre of Guildford but it is only a stone's throw away and, after a recommendation from a friend, saying this was the best roast in Guildford, we had the most wonderful Sunday lunch there today. The roast beef was tender and thick cut, the roast potatoes were crispy and the fresh veg served on the side was the best I've seen for a very long time and they will bring you more if you still have room! And all this for just £12.95. The landlady, Louise, and all her staff are lovely and really know how to offer customers great service and a great food offering. I really do urge you to try The Cannon. You won't be disappointed. AND black cutlery! What's not to love?

This restaurant is not a relaxing environment. It felt like being in a horror movie, with people entering a machine to be sprayed with a strange disinfectant. I won't be returning.

First time here! Fell in love with this pub straight away. Lovely staff. Good atmosphere. Definitely be back again!!

Staff are incredibly friendly and attentive during the day when foods served but also during the more lively evenings. food is exceptional, I highly recommend the H breakfast.
