We were very impressed with the welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, delicious food, and great drinks. Despite the size of our group, everything was top-notch. My pork terrine starter was especially tasty, served with a homemade piccalilli. I opted for dauphinois potatoes instead of cheddar mash with the duck leg, and it was absolutely delicious. The restaurant has done a fantastic job of revitalizing the space, which used to be dark and shabby. It was packed for a midweek lunch, so making a reservation in advance is recommended.
