I visited shortly before Christmas and enjoyed a delicious meal. The restaurant offers a dedicated gluten-free menu and has a policy of serving all meals on a pink plate if you inform them of a gluten allergy. The menu includes a variety of options, such as crispy Calamari, tempura spiced cauliflower, squid and chips, and three types of sandwiches, including crispy fish finger sandwiches. Although I was too full to try a dessert during my visit, they are available for those with a sweet tooth.

It is a remarkable, historical and well-preserved spot with the original mill wheels still in place (even if they are not turning). The mill race runs directly behind the pub, creating a unique atmosphere.

The food was excellent - I especially enjoyed the homemade fish-finger sandwich, my friend loved the BLT, and the camembert was delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and we appreciated that the pub is dog-friendly. Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for your hospitality.

GREAT pub and they’re doing it right.
