A lovely warm and friendly place who accommodate all diets, I had a gluten free bacon panini, the others had cooked breakfast. Lovely coffee too. And the cleanest toilets in Surrey! It's not many places you go where the owner makes a point of coming...and greeting the visitors They really care View all feedback.
What George Davis doesn't like about Clandon Park:
A lovely evening with friends. I have reviewed this restaurant before and feel it was slightly better the last time I visited. The steak was cooked, once again, to perfection, however, my husband requested it to be medium/well done and it came out in a...pool of blood. The restaurant was stifling hot and the windows weren't open at all. We asked twice to turn the air conditioning up but they didn't do it. It spoilt t... View all feedback.
I visited the garden center for lunch and was impressed with the extensive menu options. The service was quick and the staff were very polite. I would definitely recommend this place.
This is a fantastic café. The food is not heavy, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the homemade dishes are delicious. It's definitely worth a visit, and don't forget to check out the garden center as well.
A very disorganized caffe. the waiting queue for the order was extremely slow that everyone moaning, not sure why it took so long. bacon roll very good, fish finger terrible....fried and a strange gray color inside therefore not eat chips well. could for...coffee da kindergarten a good selection of plants do not risk lunch.
I took my 14 months old twins and her grandmother into the garden center café. the cakes and scenes looked great (although we had nothing this time) and the pots of the tees were good. the ham, egg and chips we had were very...cap (probably less than £1 worth of ingredients on the plate for more than £8 each and incredibly fat. my twins shared a fish finger, chips and fertilizer flour and polished pretty much everything despite the fat. Unfortunately, the chef had not even let off the draughts so that the fish fingers and chips were sitting in a pool of groundwater, a quite basic error. many high chairs were available and the staff had no fear that the twins made a bit chaos on the floor. it was also a relaxed atmosphere. fortunately I will be back for the cakes and drinks another day, but don't eat their overpriced and fat meals again.
My father and his 2 friends come here regularly on a Sunday and have often commented on the gluten free cakes as I am coeliac but I am often to poorly to join them. I made extra effort however for Father’s Day as I wanted...to treat my dad. We all had the lamb roast which was amazing and for once I was able to have it..no gluten.. there was loads of gravy, fantastic as usually you never get enough. I also managed to squeeze in some chocolate cake and cream after. I didn’t manage it all but it was delicious I just couldn’t manage anymore. Will definitely be trying to come again. Making orders with dad for cakes too.. forgot to ask about gluten free scones though. Will be great when the extension is complete.
