The service was excellent and the pizza was the best I have ever had. The flavors were fresh and distinct. The wines weren't my thing but the overall experience was great. View all feedback.
What Andrew Marchman doesn't like about Look Out Winery, Inc.:
This is another one of the “fake reviews” that is coming for the owner personally. The wine was bad. The atmosphere was not great. The views and pizza were okay. This place could be a neat spot if the owner would listen to the reviews. Response: I did not buy any bottles and I did not even finish all of the wine in my flight View all feedback.
Best pizza in the Tennessee area, hands down! The view is absolutely Amazing! The wine? Well, the wine is incredibly tasty! The Servers are very attentive and work quickly and diligently! It is very common for the Owner and the Servers to stop by frequently and check on you. If you are afraid to speak, I would suggest going to McDonald's, they don't speak to you at all and you can use the McDonald's kiosk to order your horrible food! Nope! At Lookout, you may need to have a little bit of personality! Yes, you read that correctly. You will have people sitting near by that may speak to you. You may not know them but you will by the time you leave. To summarize, the Owner, the Servers, the Folks sitting near you, may conduct conversations with you. Learn to enjoy that and not hide! The Food? The Food is Amazing! Fantastic Pizza, made in Sicilian, wood fired ovens! This is not MacDonald's, you will need to speak to get Great Food and Fabulous wines! Last but not least, the View is Superb! If you want a relaxing, Great time, with Excellent Food, Lookout Winery, is the Best that Tennessee has to offer! If you lack personality, McDonald's is about 20 30 minutes in either direction! Fun and Good Food and wine, or go be a Fuddy Duddy, elsewhere!
Please do not waste your time on this place. The ONLY redeeming factor was the view but I wish we would’ve just gone for a hike to see it. When we first pulled up we thought we were at the wrong place. Rubble everywhere a building that looked disgusting. However, we love a good hole-in- the- wall place with amazing food so we thought we’d give it a try. I wish we would have turned around and not wasted our time and money. The wine is the worst wine I’ve ever tasted. Between the plastic ware, paper plates, bottles of water, and the facility itself I am beyond disappointed. The pizza was average at best. It has such great potential but doesn’t seem like they even want to get better. The owner verbally attacks his customers (probably why there was only 3 other people when we went at lunchtime on a Saturday mind you). I can’t imagine this place is staying open for very much longer. Please do not waste your time and money you will be disappointed. Response: not a fake review. I wish we didn't go so it could be fake. This owner is a jerk. Do not waste your money on him and his business.

It is important to read the reviews. The strongest aspect that this Winery has going for it is the overlook. The quality of the wine is decent. This does not make up for the portions that should be considered robbery. The cheap pill containers that the wine is served is rather insulting. This business is not looking to serve wines but rather to have you purchase bottles. I recommend avoiding this winery as I felt insulted. I am very glad that I did not spend too much money here nor time.
My wife and I just got back from here, and it was amazing! I'm not a big wine drinker, but the selection they have is large enough that I found several I liked. We had the house special pizza, which has shrimp scampi on it. The sauce and crust really stand out. It's authentic Italian pizza. There happened to be a German couple there that commented on how accurate the taste was to pizza they had over in Italy before, and I believe it. It's unlike any other pizza we've had in this area before. The service was great, and the pricing is reasonable. They also offer a wine sampler tray, where you can choose from six different wines to try. Also, the tiramisu cake will knock your socks off. You can't go wrong here! 10/10
