What Danielle Coulon doesn't like about Aux Sabots Rouges:
Food was good. Chef brought from his travels many new taste so it s a sort of fusion. Service was fair. So what went wrong? When I asked for the bill, I wanted to pay with credit card. Owner (and chef) was there and adopted...a rude attitude. I can understand he prefers cash, but no need to be rude. So you can have a good meal, food is really good, but don t expect a good service and make sure you have cash with you View all feedback.
Rustic, charming bar, bistro, hotel. great dining, midday evening, friendly staff great atmosphere. they often never eat disappointed here. there are a few rooms in the B side that are beautiful. friends have stayed here. I would recommend it very much.
Excellent food, superb dining experience. Menu midi was simply delightful, well presented and freshly cooked with local ingredients. We will return.
Hotel run by Ash and his partner, English and Australian. Ash does the best fish and chips I’ve ever had, the bar feels quite like an English pub. As for the accommodation, the rooms are spacious and well set out, with king size beds. Breakfast...is continental and very nice.
Three generations had a fabulous two course meal at this restaurant. Great ambience and decor, extremely friendly and accommodating staff and superb food!!!
After over dosing on Moule et frites in touristy restaurants around Brittany we were taken by friends to this delightfully homely eatery. Very woody and bookshelvey, laid back and comfortable it really was an oasis. Possibly the best fish n chips I've ever eaten! (Sorry Tenby), and a beef burger that made me swoon! Guinness is served and kept well. Used by ex pats and with an English waitress I can't recommend more highly.
