I always imagine what a unique restaurant experience might be like before I actually go and I hope it lives up to my expectations. Unfortunately, this place did not come close to what I had hoped for. The front of the café resembles a thrift store, where you place your order at a counter. The prices were incredibly high for what was offered. Once we ordered our food, we headed to the back of the building where there was a lounge area and...no cats in sight. My son and I picked a second-hand couch to sit on, hoping to see some cats, but we were disappointed. We eventually moved to the back of the seating area where we could see two cats on a raised platform from a distance. After about 20 minutes, two younger cats started playing, which was the most entertaining part of the whole experience. I had expected to see more cats that were friendly and interacted with customers. It's a nice place for a coffee break, but I wouldn't recommend eating here. If you're hoping for lots of cat interaction, you may be disappointed.
The cat room is comfortable and filled with toys for playing with the cats. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, and they also offer free Wifi.
This is a really funny place for lunch. The food is delicious and the service is warm and friendly. It was relaxing and entertaining to see the kitties play. A great concept! Would definitely go back.
The restaurant is located in a quiet area behind a variety of businesses, making it a bit tricky to find. You can choose to pay a $2 entrance fee or make a purchase (I usually opt for a $1.75 tea) once inside. The ambiance is more like a lounge than a traditional café, with cozy couches and plenty of space for the cats to roam around. I suggest visiting when there are fewer people so you can get more attention from the cats. Another unique feature is the option to adopt a cat if you find one you fall in love with - such a wonderful idea! They also offer WIFI, which is a nice touch.
This is a place with you can get a coffee, sandwich, etc. and then go back into a comfortable lounge area where a number of cats from the Humane Society live. The lounge is very much set up for the cats with many cat cubbies,...trees, etc. so the cats can climb and play and hide when things get too much. All the cats are adoptable! A fun experience for cat people and potential cat people.
