It is easy to... read more We have been fans of Insomnia Trattoria for some time now; the food is consistently terrific and authentic. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It is easy to tell that there is a whole lot of heart in this business; from the friendly, skilled chefs to the little details and personal service that make this Italian gem, a winner.

Two i... read more Four of us arrived and we were all provided with warm water with no ice and stale bread. Three of us ordered caesar salad and the salad was warm and limp. Two in our party ordered the veal parm and two ordered the seafood gnocci....Some minutes later our food arrived and I have to say that although this was one of the top restaurant I have rated in previous visits, it was now the worst. The pasta with the veal tasted like pasta with tomato juice. The shrimp that came with the gnocci was ok however the gnocci itself was horrible. It was pasty and heavy. The sauce itself tasted like pure wine. We advised our server about the poor quality of the food and we never got an apology or any word from her. I saw our waitress telling what appeared to be the Manager and she too totally ignored us. The next time we had contact from the Manager/waitress was when she dropped off our check without a word. We were charged for the full dinner....not an apology, nothing. I have to say that although I have been to this restaurant on at least other occasions, I will never go back.
