What pernet eva doesn't like about Le Goldert:
After seeing a report we stopped buying some goose foie gras on the road for our holidays by chance it still had a few days of parties! Originally from the Landes we used duck foie gras so we were very curious to taste the goose and we were not disappointed a real treat! In addition, the approach of without gavage is really an excellent initiative bravo to you and good courage for the future. View all feedback.

A...foi gras amuse bouche, which is supposed to be chefs claim to be famous: smoked duck breast filled with duck foi gras excellent! then 4 different for gras terrines as appetizer, followed by a main consisting of duck breast with fried foi gras on the top. the menu consisted of geese and ente foi gras and offered a chance to taste the different and different types of preparations. then followed a dessert of 4 different small portions, which was almost too much after all foi grass. the food was excellent, service perfect and the restaurant very cozy. all in a great evening.
Little gem in quaint village of gueberschwihr, elsass we stayed in guerberschwihr shortly before Christmas, and all restaurants (and most hotels) were closed for the season! next to the grand place we found the foie gras shop and the adjacent restaurant that was still opened, we had the plate du jour, both made from very fresh Alsatian vegetables and deer meat, as well as very reasonable in the price. even if they do not like foie gras, this restaurant is highly recommended!
This three star rating, and we originally gave it two, is despite one of the best desserts we have ever eaten. that is because we believe that eating a restaurant is a total experience and that excellent in an area...(or in this case can not compensate) can weaken at another place. we had not thought to eat here, but the restaurant in le relais de vignobles was unexpectedly closed (see separate review) and together with several other couples we were blown here. this was evident from the chaotic seating arrangements and the haunted expressions on the faces of the personal. however, if they were unable to deal with all the additional customers when they would not have accepted the bookings made by the hotel in our order. ten minutes after sitting, and just before deciding to go, we were water and a weeping list and menu brought. we chose from the non-cheap fixed price menu, including an Alsatian salat and duck dish. the salat was large and sensational with sour, smoked ducks and cubs of Fois grass, well integrated with the salat and well dressed. this, however, only appeared after several tables that had come after us, in some cases warm dishes were served, and we and another couple that had come at the same time began to feel very like the citizens of the second class. the court when it came was again excellent, cooked exactly as we asked and with suitable vegetables. but until the time we had finished, we had been in the not too comfortable sitting for almost two and a half hours and had a long journey from italien (see le relais review) we were very tired and felt not like another long waiting period on dessert. I asked for the bill that without obvious surprise, commentary or reduction for the dessert that we have not. what they did was the top. as I said, we have seen two as an award, and the original I wrote this, but after reiferous reflexion I feel a little regret for the pressure that the hotel had subordinated to them, but again, they could have refused. as it is, they get a three, where the meal was taken on itself was a clear five.
It was the only place open, as the city is quite small at the rande of the weinberge with great wine and spectacular eating. if in the region this city has to be one and the food ingredients are fresh and taste is amazing.
We had a meny for two consisting of Sliced smoked duck breast then a magnific plate of four slices of a variety of goose and duck liver. Main dish was roasted duck breast with fresh fried duck liver and mushroms, vegetables and potato gratin. A...wonderful dessert consisting og menthe-marinated strawberries, deconstructed whipped cream cake and creme brulee wit espresso. Nice wines and lovely service. Also very cheap in Swedish measures.
