The restaurants has changed its management this year and Fabienne has done a commendable job of putting a wonderful fare for the healthy pallet. The restaurant is child and pet friendly and is a great addition to the village. View all feedback.
What Noel Pfeffer doesn't like about Le Belle-Vue:
Yes it was crowded and yes we were quite late but.....the staff gave the impresssion that they couldn't care less. This may have given me a worse impression of the food than was quite fair but the place generally had a very scrappy and lazy...air. My choucroute was OK but my partner's steak was tough and badly cooked. Wine was average (given that it's in a vineyard La Taverne Medievale is minutes walk into the villag... View all feedback.
If you want to eat the real deal 'Tarte flambé' (not bought from the store), eat the tenderest Escargots ever (extra butter and garlic) or enjoy a impeccable service with a great smile and stunning views, then there is only one address to the true... Alsace style. Fabienne has everything. In any case, your time is worth a genuine French traditional meal.
Nice and multilingual service very good local cuisine and vines. You need to visit this place when you're in Alsace.
Classical restaurant with an Alsatian menu and beautiful ambience. We had the snails for appetizers, tartars for main and the special dessert of the day. Snails were good, but strange enough cooked and served without dishes. This did not change the taste, but took away... some of the fun... The tartaric acid, on the other hand, was delicious. Perfectly balanced acidity and exactly the correct amount of chopped pleasures mixed. All in all very nice and worth a visit. We could not see the Belle view as it was dark, but given the location it probably has a beautiful view.

La Taverne Medievale is 10 minutes walk into the village and infinitely better. The hotel which is next door to Le Belle-Vue and managed by the same people is very good and suffers from none of the above issues.
A very goog restaurant in Guebershwir, without any pretence and quite friendly. The food there is rather common in its preparation, so don't expect any gastronomy but the wine and the food are well served and everything is quite good. The price is moderate, and...the quality of the food is in the plate. You have interest to book in advance as it's very crowdy but no trouble with the waitresses (I haven't seen any waiters)... and I went there 3 times... Their desserts are wonderful, there we can speak about gastronomy. To be recommanded...
