La Cantina - GUBBIO

A few steps from the parking lot of piazza 40 martyrs, along the road of the republic that leads to the historical center, there is a delicious alley. It is called via picchetto and leads to a nice pizzeria restaurant, open for lunch and dinner. the environment is well maintained and very characteristic, with ceilings and stone walls and large and well equipped tables. you eat very well, and you can choose between meats and cheeses, typical dishes of Umbrian cuisine and pizza (to be noticed why not frequent, pizza also at lunch! . the dishes are abundant and very good; we have personally tried the pizza, thin and crisp, well seasoned: in short, a good place in the center of the foggy. prices are average, not excessive also considering the quality of the products. the staff is kind, and the service was really fast, despite the place was full (for us with a small child is always an extra value.

Local in the historical center, I had lunch here with the family, first very good (umbricelli with goose sauce), second and sweet in the average, reasonable cost.

I happened here for the location, very characteristic and cozy. Once at the table, (and after I was ordered) I have the appetizer without having the drink back. after which they brought me the first without removing the dish of the previous course. the waiters are young and as such should be path. Good food
