Bones Roadhouse - Gualala
Bones Roadhouse
Description
Bones Roadhouse, perched along the coastal highway, offers breathtaking ocean views and a vibrant atmosphere adorned with quirky decor. However, diners express a wide range of experiences, from delightful meals of chicken wings and brisket to significant disappointments with dishes like the overcooked NM Chop. While service is often described as friendly, inconsistencies in attentiveness and food quality mar the overall experience. Despite some diners praising the BBQ sauce and onion rings, many feel the restaurant has declined over the years. In a region with limited options, Bones remains a topic of debate among food enthusiasts.

Hey guys keep up the good work ,everyone I've talked to about bones has always enjoyed the great food and service that was provided .
An amazing selection of great tasting food. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. And the best blues music. I thought I had died and gone to heaven.
Amazing food, wonderful service! I loved everything we tried. The onion rings were full of flavor. The story behind the restaurant is great. Great prices too. BBQ sauce was delicious. Will definitely be going there again when we're in the area!
Bones is an Interesting restaurant with a nice view, but based on our experience, their food is terrible and service is lousy. It can’t be this bad all the time or they wouldn’t be in business. Underneath some pretty good BBQ sauce, the chicken they served me was dry as dust. It must have been sitting someplace drying out and getting progressively more overcooked for hours. Service was friendly enough but once served we were ignored and it took forever to get our bill. I just now noticed on the receipt that we were charged for a coke we neither ordered nor received. There aren’t many options in Gualala and Bones can’t be this bad for everyone, but I’d avoid the place if possible.
