Mentacanela - Guadalajara

This cute little cafe in the center of town in a must for any visitor. The décor reminds me of a restaurant one would find along the east-coast of the U.S. The food is traditional but not as heavy as some Spanish cuisine. I came here with a group of 12 college-aged students and everyone enjoyed everything. I recommend the goat cheese and duck ham salad and the tuna crêpe. The homemade desserts are great too!

Menta Canela is a cosy, friendly enviroment. Staff are friendly, efficient despite busy at all times. Food is great and tasteful! Finally a place in Guadalajara where as many, don't serve omelette, patatas bravas or pork, in all dishes. It has more approach to European cuisine , more international than again just local food. Delicious. Wine selection is my tip point( everywhere you go in guadalajara is served Rioja only!!!!!! ... Well done! I come to Menta Canela and will keeping coming back! :
