Tolly-ho In Lex - gton-Fayette

We had a fantastic late-night dining experience at Tolly-Ho! The cashier was exceptionally friendly, well-dressed, and hardworking. They were constantly running back and forth between work stations and serving customers, all while maintaining a positive attitude. The food was delicious, served quickly, and piping hot! Not to mention, it was reasonably priced. We are thrilled that we chose Tolly-Ho over Awful Waffle (waffle house). We look forward to returning to try more items on the menu. The Hot mess sandwich, Veggie Philly, and onion rings were all of excellent quality. Thank you Tolly-Ho and staff!

I used to enjoy dining at this restaurant and the service was excellent. However, since the pandemic, the focus has shifted to fulfilling DoorDash orders rather than serving customers dining in. While I understand the need to prioritize online orders during a pandemic, it is disappointing to see customers waiting while the kitchen is overwhelmed with online orders. Despite the delays, the food quality is still better than other options in the area. The kitchen staff is skilled and efficient, but the restaurant should prioritize customers who are dining in rather than those ordering online. It's frustrating to have to wait just to place an order and see other customers leaving due to the long wait times. In my opinion, it is not good business practice to prioritize online orders over in-person diners at a restaurant.
