We had ribs and chicken dinners. We didn't like the baked beans much and the coleslaw was not better too. Liked the okra though. But best of all, the ribs and chargrilled chicken were good, and the portions were large. Free parking space and outdoor dining were plus features. See QR code for the menu View all feedback.
What Michelle D doesn't like about Bones Bbq Joint:
Food was cold. All of it. Even the fries. Order also wrong. Pulled pork had no taste and all the sauses were sweet even the vinegar sause. Staff cranky and not helpful. View all feedback.

We were able to walk here from our hotel for dinner, and it was certainly worth the walk it's a bit out of the way up a side street. Counter service order and wait for your number to be called. Pretty varied menu with lots of options, but all standard stuff, nothing out of the ordinary. Pulled pork on a bun was moist and tasty, as was the chicken, the sides were good and obviously house made, as were the sauces. They had a small selection of local craft beer, but what they had was good.
Bones BBQ Joint, late on Friday night was worried that all they would have left would be dried out meat and the dregs of the mac n cheese sides. Turned out the 1/4 pound of pulled pork sandwich was moist enough that I didn’t even need to use any of the half dozen sauce choices they had available! The mac n cheese was fresh tasting, and I really liked the potato salad very flavorful! Several brews in tap, and wuite a few more in bottles/cans. Would definitely go back! Great last minute find you should take advantage of!
The food was okay nothing special. Maybe it was the time I went in but the pork seemed like it was microwaved and not smoked today. The pickle chips were extra greasy and fried for too long. The batter was extra thick and not thin like every other fried pickle chips I have ever had. I didn’t expect them to be amazing since it’s a bbq joint but I still wanted to try them.
Really good food. Meat was a bit dry but when we added BBQ sauce it was really good. Potato salad, beans, and Cole slaw were amazing. Staff is super friendly and it’s off the main road so it wasn’t crazy busy on a Saturday night.
