Nestled in the art loop, Red Oak Bistro offers a warm and inviting atmosphere ideal for intimate meals. Diners rave about the inventive small plates, crafted from fresh ingredients, and the outstanding service provided by the friendly husband-and-wife team. Popular menu items include homemade sausage kebabs and delightful tapas, complemented by an impressive selection of wines and cocktails. While reservations are essential due to the restaurant's limited operating hours and cozy size, guests consistently recommend this upscale yet unpretentious dining experience. Whether for a special occasion or a casual night out, Red Oak Bistro promises a memorable culinary adventure.

We were excited to try out the menu at Red Oak Bistro and were pleased to be able to sit on their outdoor deck with our dog. The selection of wine and whiskey was fantastic, as were the cocktails. The owners, who also serve as the chef and host, were very welcoming. We particularly enjoyed their homemade sausage kebabs, beet napoleon, and the espresso ice cream and bourbon dessert. We highly recommend Red Oak Bistro for their delicious small plates, friendly host, talented chef, lovely outdoor seating, and cozy indoor atmosphere. Our anniversary dinner here was the perfect date night. It is advised to make reservations in advance as they can be busy and only open 4 nights a week. We will definitely be returning in the future!

This restaurant review is based on my personal experience and opinions. It is important for individuals to form their own judgments. I want to address the misconception that this restaurant is pricey - my wife and I believe that we received great value for the cost. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. We felt like we were dining in a Swiss chalet. We highly recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I had an amazing time at Red Oak Bistro! The food is inventive and made with fresh ingredients. The ambiance is lovely and the owners are very friendly. Red Oak is a fun and upscale dining experience without being overly arrogant.

Such a unique experience for this area. Spent a couple of hours at Red Oak Bistro with husband and sister in law. The atmosphere was perfect for relaxing and good conversation. We had a bottle of Prosecco...brie en croute...charcuterieboard...then chocolate mouse and chocolate torte for dessert. We all gave it two thumbs up for friendly service, excellent foodand intimate atmosphere!

My husband and I love late night European style, tapas dinners. This place was a dream come for us. It 's tucked into the Glade which made the atmosphere quiet and serene. We shared four plates and a phenomenal bottle of Spanish wine. Everything wasperfect. My only thought of improvement was there could be nuts in the mesculun salad for a little crunch. The owner 's maketheir own dolmas and Bulgarian sausage. We each had a cocktail to start and my husband 's old fashioned was the best I have everhad! The owner 's also make the simple syrup homemade with their own honey. Do not miss this place it was amazing!!!!
