Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton were regulars and frequently visited always sitting at the same table. La Cave is a classic go to place in Gstaad. The drinks are well made, the hors d’oeuvres were delicious and service impeccable. They retain an old world classy feel like a fireplace in the bar, Not to be missed when in Gstaad!!!

The ser... read more We had booked early only to find it wasn't busy on the Sunday night we came. We had a drink in the cosy street level bar and then had dinner downstairs. The service is impeccable, of course it was not a busy night, but still they took very god care of us. We had risotto with osso buco which was great and very good wines to go with it. They also showed us their amazing wine cellar which you can book for private tastings. This place is a classic go to place in Gstaad, they retain the old feel but with new twists such as the fireplace in the bar, nice addition! Don't miss it if you are in the area!
