Coming back from a hockey tournament, my husband and I were craving for a good poutine. We decided to stop at Lucky Luc’s and we didn’t regret it! If you’re looking for a tasty poutine made with cheese curds, flavourful gravy and delicious fries, this is the place to stop! We’ll go back for sure! View all feedback.
What solotravellerCanada doesn't like about Luck'y Luc's:
This establishment serves as a bar, taproom, and off-sale location with the restaurant being an afterthought. The food may be passable after a few drinks, but if you try it while sober, you will likely be disappointed. It is advisable to look for a different dining option elsewhere in town. Stopped in for lunch based on a recommendation. Had the daily special of half order of fish and chips. Both were delicious and crispy. My wife enjoyed an order of perogies. A few local beers available. Service was attentive and friendly. The establishment would benefit from an update or reno.

I recently visited Lucky Luc’s in St. Agathe, Manitoba and it was a delightful experience! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the country atmosphere added to the overall charm of the place. If you're passing through on your way to Winnipeg, I highly recommend stopping by this hidden gem. I don't usually leave reviews unless a place truly impresses me, and Lucky Luc's definitely did. Our server, Taylor, was fantastic. Wishing them all the best!
A small town local bar with city food at country prices the menu is amazing and the food outstanding weather it's dining alone or catering for 500 the good quality consistency is amazing.
While visiting my Mom we decided to go for lunch at Lucky Luc 's. It seemed we went during the lunch rush and the tiny restaurant was packed. Despite the pretty lengthy wait for our food, the server was very prompt and friendly. Once our food arrived it was delicious and the portions large for the price. I chose, from the extensive wing sauce list, the Butter Chicken Wings. Bang on with flavour! I also had a small order of the Taco Poutine, which was actually quite large! I would certainly recommend this place! Side note: The St. Pierre tap water tastes a bit like eggs so it 's best when ordering water to ask for a Bottled.
