As we were visiting Rome, we stayed in Grottaferrata. We were looking for a restaurant outside tourist areas and with traditional Italian food. As we knew it would be outside the town we had to enter the destination in our Navigation system. The restaurant only has a small sign next to the road. But due to the fact it is in the countryside. The sign is clearly visible. The decoration is very basic, the food is without frills but has a wonderful taste. The staff is extremely friendly. Knowledge of english is very limited, but they compensate with their effort to help. Great price performance ratio !

Nice outdoor place where you can get Roman specialties and abundant portions. recommended recommended

We came with friends and the dog rocco to take a little fresh and run away a few hours from the suffocating heat of the city. you eat well, you are well in peace. . What did we get? deer pappardelle, charcoal, scalded beard, choratella, steak with bone, the last portion of the tail to the vaccination and a mixture of berdure retaken. All right, we went on chatting for hours.

Excellent Roman cuisine, friendly staff, helpful and capable....it's been 20 years that I go there and I never found bad... good prices from tavern.
