Fiumara Beach - GROSSETO

We’ve got great references for this place. But our experience with Fiumara turned out to be a total disaster. At the beginning it seemed that this was a marvelous and very romantic place. We arrived with a gang of hungry kids though and wanted to get them food first. No, we had to wait as the chef was taking a shower. Once he washed himself we were allowed to make an order. Of course, for the kids first. But after 4 calls of a waiter we still have not received the food we asked. Two kids left the restaurant after 3 hours with no food at all. When we pointed this out to the owner he said that food has been served, we should not tell him what to do as “this is his home”. On top of this shortchanged.
