10/10, one of the best meals I've ever had. Wish I could remember my waitress' name, but she was incredibly natural and experienced. I had the veal and my friend had the bolognese lasagna. Both of them were totally out of this world. I will be coming back.
What The Strand Magazine doesn't like about Da Edoardo Grosse Pointe:
During pre Covid or as I call it pc versus ac, it was ever the snooty place. And they have the wood panels, the chandeliers and the 10 watt light bulbs to justify it! The food was good then. They are more welcoming now, but I left the place fearing I’d end up ill after chicken that was more raw than cooked. The server was apologetic and I ordered something vegetarian. It might have been that it was a Sunday and maybe... View all feedback.
Fantastic food, great high class atmosphere. Try the calamari, you won't regret it.
The Lasagna was the best I've ever had, even better than my grandmothers.

The Bistecca alla Fiorentina at DaEdoardo’s Restaurant is a true culinary masterpiece. This 44oz Creekstone Farms Prime Porterhouse is accompanied by a generous selection of salad, soup, pasta, potatoes, and vegetables enough to feed a family of four. The chef expertly seasons and sears the steak to perfection, creating a mouthwatering experience. My 10 year old son and I shared this delectable feast cooked to a medium rare perfection, and it truly stands out as one of the best steaks we've ever had. Both the strip side and the filet side offer exceptional flavors. The chef thoughtfully slices the bone for sharing, leaving us with plenty leftover for a delightful second meal. I highly recommend this exceptional entree, available only on Fridays and Saturdays.
Absolutely love this place it is one of our favorite restaurants. We have been coming for years now. We spend all of our special occasions here. Unfortunately we were disappointed in our last visit. It was on a Saturday and we do understand that it can get busy but the reservation was made 2 weeks in advance. When we got there we got seated right by the entry door next to the hostess desk. We asked if any other table was available and they said no we even offered to wait for another table to open up then they proceeded to tell us the wait would be an hour and 45 minutes. It wasn’t a big deal until 2 to 3 parties of 2 just like us came in 20 minutes after us and were seated in the main room. Our waitress was very attentive and food was great. I just recommend moving that table the door kept opening with people coming in and out mind you it was 20 degrees out not a great place for seating.
