It is situated in a clearing just a few minutes drive from the village of Grindelwald, with wonderful views of the valley below. We have been there many times and have always been greeted warmly by the owners, Anita and Wali (she provides service and he cooks). There is always a lively conversation and the food is delicious. Our favorites are cheese fondue and pork schnitzel with fries. The salads are generous and fresh. We try to save space for dessert, and when we are not too full we share a large slice of heavenly Linzertorte, prepared by Anita’s mother.

The food was fresh and good. Good Swiss cooking. The steak was very good. Great place to watch the sunset.
