When we got there... read more We found ourselves at Grindelwald Terminal at supper time, and were looking for something within a short walking distance that had kids' menu. When we got there and saw that it was the restaurant at the Grund train station, our hopes weren't high. But wow... one of the best all-around meals we had in Grindelwald. Between the view, the menu, the service, the value, and the food... we were disappointed we didn't discover it until our last night. The live traditional Swiss music was a nice surprise, too. The kids loved it!

The menu offers traditional Swiss cuisine and some meals for a more experienced or adventurous palate. The bells hanging from the ceiling, the classic wooden surrounds with pictures of a younger, less built up area, really felt like a small step back into a less complicated and honest time! Staff friendly and polite and our food was delicious! A real homely winter environment. Thank you!

We paid about CHF 120. for 4 main dishes, 3 beers and a glass of wine. The food itself is quite good but rather on the heavy side. It‘s perfect if you spent the whole day being physically active.

The staff are really friendly and the food is nice, served in good portions and reasonably priced. When you're travelling a place like this is a godsend because you get a really good meal without breaking the budget, especially in a place like Grindelwald where eating out can seriously damage your bank balance. And served with a smile which is not to be underestimated.

We were in... read more We stopped here to change our train from Jungfrau to Interlaken Ost. The beer served in the restaurant was really refreshing and pizza was delicious. We were in a group of seven and everyone enjoyed the drinks and food. Definitely, we'd love to pop in there again for the coldest beer!
