While not the most demanding place to eat in Grindelwald, this really hits twice (our child insisted to come back to the cow. And the veggie burgers and chips were actually excellent, juicy and full of gherkin, onion and delicious cheese. The chips were also much better than at a much more posher place on the street. What Gurli Matthiesen doesn't like about Bebbis Restaurants:
Service was awful. The waiter was not friendly at all and only stopped one time. The wife and I both got beers. Needless to say, both of the beers were flat and gross. The fish sandwich was rock hard, overcooked, and down right fowl. I took one bite and couldn’t anymore. I pushed the plate aside and the waiter never stopped to ask how anything was. The wife got nachos and she said they were “decent” but didn’t eat th... View all feedback.
It's not like we expected something special. The whole restaurant is a pseudo-alpine experience, complete with fake wood in the Geustraum and goat bells on the toilet. The view would probably speak for it, but not a nebulous, rainy day. Nevertheless, the menu did not look so bad and it rained, so we decided to try it. What a mistake: The Swiss burger was barely edible, meat and bread was quite o.k., the cheese was absolutely tasteless and I lacked the words to describe the fried egg. I didn't know you could overcook an egg so much that the egg yolk becomes chewing and the bottom is brown and looks like caramel. Add to these soggy and unsalted chips (there is no salt or pepper on the table) and a rather uninspired ketchup. I was really hungry, but I didn't finish this delicious meal. The roesti of my husband were a little better, but certainly microwave comfort food and also not of a higher quality. The service is ok, the waiters try their best and are quite fast and very friendly. Everything in everything will never be repeated!
Absolutely impossible. I'm from Chamonix, so I know something or two about Fondue au fromage. This fondue is pasty, mixed with flower and tastes sweet (Hello sugar additive). A real fondue savoyarde is very easy to make, but you need high quality ingredients that I don't try to do a cost out. The service: the welcome did everything. No hi, no smile, just a ridiculous cow-picked person who doesn't even recognize my girlfriend and I and only shows us on a table. My girlfriend (Danish) also has working taste buds and after her first attempt, told me «let us pay and go ». When he asked about the check and told the waiter that this was simply unacceptable, he laughed out it in principle arrogant, took the payment and told me that they liked it while insulting me in French. A really great place to go if you want to be demolished and respected.

Worst schnitzel ever, although it immediately replaces the second was not better. We ordered 3 and all were dry and tasteless. Never so disappointed with a meal in a Swiss restaurant. The only reason I gave 2 stars was the service excellent and the restaurant did not charge us for 2 of the carvings.
Bobbi’s has great veggie burgers and was a great spot to dine on patio with small children; super casual and great view.
