What Andy C dislikes about Le Mûrier:
Went there with a friend one evening last month. Good ambience in a country house and a nice dining room. All very proper. The service was good. We only saw one waitress as it was a quiet evening. Reasonable at 32 euros for a set menu. The fruit and ice cream based dessert was very good. But for the starter and main rather small portions and too much nouvelle cuisine in style for my liking but that is a personal tast... View all feedback.

We had a nice diner with our friends on the terrace. The owner was very friendly and attentive. She was even laughing on my jokes. poor lady) The food and wine was perfect, the view is beautiful from the terrace. [hidden link]

First visit good food but lacking atmosphere. We have a villa only a short distance from the restaurant, and have been meaning to visit for some time, so along with friends 6 of us made the booking for Sunday lunch. The menu on the website was extensive, so we were somewhat disappointed by a much more limited menu in the restaurant. A set menu of 35 euro for 3 courses with a voice of 3 or 4 dishes at each course, or a limited a la carte menu which featured the same dishes as the set menu plus 1 or two others. Large square dining room with lovely whitewashed beams, and a log burner. Only one other table occupied, and a further table of 3 people arrived after we were eating. Room lacked atmosphere, and was a bit barren, needs a bit of a make over. Starters of tempura vegetables and prawns were excellent, main courses of beef cheek and veal were also very good, local wine was excellent, and good desserts, bill was 320 euro a bit on the high side as portions were small. Pleasant enough food but just missing atmosphere, will probably try outside in the summer, all in all not a patch on Bastide Blanche, Les Santons, both of which are also in Grimaud.

Wonderful welcome from the Chef and his wife, who spent a few moments talking with us, and then we were seated. Light and airy room, with the doors open to the courtyard outside. Idylic surroundings. The food was just stunning, with Asian/Japanese touches on French classics. Highly recommend the Sultanine, the Beignets and the Cabillaud. We had a bottle of truly excellent Bio red wine.... recommended and absolutely perfect. Hospitality as it should be.

Beautiful setting and delicious food. Typical french food with local ingredients. Everything was savory and fresh. Would definitely recommend. Small space for 20-25 per evening.
