The welcoming and accommodating staff made for a pleasant experience. It's a great place to unwind and relax. The only issue was that the mains were not served at the same time, with some guests receiving their food 20 minutes before others. Despite this minor hiccup, I was extremely pleased with the outstanding service, delicious food, and overall attention to creating a great dining experience.

It was good value and although pretty much a pub-style steak, chips and salad, it was a tender steak with lashings of salad and fresh chips. Hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed our bargain priced meal that was served in super quick time by friendly staff inside a gorgeous old CANBERRA hotel.

Loved that on my way to the room I was able to stop at the bar for 1/2 price wine or beer, come back for dinner and grab a night cap on my way back to the room. Pricing was very reasonable.
