Description

At this neighborhood sandwich shop, loyal customers praise tasty made-to-order sandwiches and generally friendly young staff, though rising prices and menu changes have disappointed some regulars.

Concerns include recurring hygiene problems (hair in food), inconsistent coupon/offer acceptance, slow restocking, and uneven staff training; in-store music divides patrons. Overall, solid food paired with uneven execution makes it a convenient lunch spot with room for operational improvement.

Sorry no pictures. I ate sub almost as soon as I got it.

Got 2 6inch sub meals and just a 12 in sandwich and it cost $41 way to over priced so will not be eating at Subway anymore!

This place is quite strange. You can end up waiting an unusually long time for certain ingredients to be brought out. In fact, you might find yourself waiting while they restock items that aren't used very often. What's frustrating is that the lead employee won’t complete the food because she’s on the phone, leaving the new employee to struggle on their own. It's likely the same new employee who forgot to stock the wraps and guacamole. I recommend skipping this place; they clearly have a lot of training to do.

I have always loved Subway. I used to get the Spicy Italian but they changed their pepperoni a while back so now I just get Salami. Like everywhere else, I'm not thrilled with how high the cost of a sandwich has gotten. But the food is still great and the service at the store at the corner of Broad and Ridge in Griffith continues to be good. They gave a great group of people working there.

Stopped tonight for 3 sandwiches for our family. The young men were helpful and nice. As I was picking my toppings, I noticed what appeared to be a hair on the onions and mentioned it. The young lady yanked the bowl of onions out and threw them on the back counter and then slammed another container in that ones place! Sorry, I didn't want the hair! Then, I had a coupon for the 3 sandwiches and was told they don't accept coupons due to meat shortage! Hmmmm....For some reason, corporate sends out coupons and their individual businesses do not accept them....I've had friendlier service at this location, just not the best tonight.
