The stroopwafels were some of the best I've ever had in my life! The coffee was perfect with the sweet treat. But what really makes this place a total gem is Richard's hospitality. Four friends and I wandered by on a cloudy day and he stroke up conversation and invited us all into his little boat. We were planning on just looking over the viewing point but ended up spending almost an hour just hanging out. View all feedback.
Really loved the waffles and coffee! The waffles is crunchy, lightly sweetened with a hint of cinnamon. Coffee is fresh and aromatic! Lifeboat is a great place to hangout and take a break! We even had a special honeymoon waffle! Thank you so much!
After searching around for breakfast at Greymouth through Trip advisor, we decided to come over and have a try. End up, we have a combo as our breakfast and taking away for 10 small and 10 big pieces of wafels to enjoy it in our journey and bring back home for our lovely family. They are very friendly and warm, nothing got better than these in the winter. Having a nice talk with them is out of my expectation, I think we gonna have great and continuous chat if we are not rushing to our next destination. Super recommend to everyone who travel to Greymouth, we hope to visit them again in near future to enjoy this wonderful wafels and continue our chat.
Probably the highlight of my trip to Greymouth, delicious waffle, wonderful coffee and great banter! Lovely people, lovely location! Magical!
Yummy stroopwaffles hot coffees from The Lifeboat. We were even given a heart shaped waffle freebie by the romantic friendly owner!
Fantastic! Pay Richard and Monique a visit when you're in Greymouth! They make better stroopwaffles than the Dutch and they're absolutely beautiful people.
