Parker's Smokehouse - Gretna

Parker's is one of the long-term restaurants on the highway outside Ashland, Nebraska. Casual with bar, good selection of smoked brisket, ribs and chicken together with hamburgers. We enjoy continuing the Steakhouse tradition of tea candlelight on every table. Friday- Saturday, Prime Rib smoked in addition to its regular Prime Rib. The smoke in the main rib was mild, meat cooked rarely as desired. The Romano potatoes with melted cheese delicious as my companions sweet potatories. BE SURE to experience their sweet corn bread muffins that come with your order that Dessert needs! It is waiting area furniture needs some care, but we went for the food and ambience of an era when steak houses were king.

Let me begin by saying I am from the south and we know good BBQ, but this place has broken my head. That was the best BBQ we ever had. My husband and I ordered the combo for 2 and my goodness it is enough for 4 people, so we have lunch for tomorrow and then some. The briskete was so delicate that she just fell apart and the ribs should die, I want to die. The wort was so good and the meat just fell off the bone. For our pages we have Coleslaw, potato salad and beans. All were very good, but the baked beans were amazing!!!!!!! Sweet tea was great. The **** Mary looked amazing so I had to try one, but it was just okay. On the table they offered BBQ sauces, mustard base, sweet and a spicy. All were delicious. The service was very friendly and fast. We will definitely go back when we visit family again!

We are looking forward to finding Parker?s Smokehouse. Felt welcome as soon as we open the door. Our server, Jessica, was very attentive, friendly and friendly. The manager Scott was very friendly, generous and professional. The food was excellent! The legendary chili was very tasty, the ribs were super delicate, the pulled pig was moist and tasteful. We ordered a piece of carrot cake to go, but took a look and a nibble of it and it is one of the best we? ve tastes in a long time? spicy (like spice cake) and moist! It was a great experience, so we?

The catfish appetizer is the best I've ever had. It's super crunchy and flavorful. The sauce is even great! We ordered half of the platter for myself and husband. It included brisket, ribs, chicken, slaw, beans, cinnamon apples and corn muffins. The brisket and slaw were just ok, not flavorful. The ribs were good, beans and corn muffins and apples. Would definitely come back. Plenty of food for future meals. The star for me was the catfish and corn muffins. Definitely good food!
